- Notes
- Alex taught the community members about the steps that they will have to meet before the borehole is drilled. This was the first lesson with the community talking about the borehole. He reminded them that it was very important for them to own everything kibo is telling them and he told them to maintain the good sanitation in their homes. He told them that a borehole should not be the one thing that will divide their community but rather continue uniting them. He also asked the community members to respect what their water user committee members ask them to do. They have to contribute money amounting to 300000sh towards the borehole account before a borehole is commissioned. They also have to make sure that they feed the workers that will come to work on the borehole. This community has shown very good response right from the start and they have shown very good spirit of working together.r
