Notes
Suzan and Tape went to the village to practically teach the community from the lower section how to build a fuel efficient stove, and this was going to be a second demonstration stove. When they got there, they went straight to one of the members home where the stove was going to be built and found the members already gathered there with all the materials ready. Because of the weather which was changing faster and threatening to rain, Kibo group started mixing up both the dirt and grass while counting the numbers of basins to the members until they made 10 basins and 6 basins of grass. There after it was spread and mixed with water, then together they started stamping the dirt until it was soft and ready for building the stove. The dirt was carried inside the kitchen and Kibo staff requested few members at go to step inside and watch each step as they began building the stove so as to avoid big gatherings. Kibo staff began building the stoves step by step while explaining to the members because they needed to master and learn all the skills so that they would also begin practicing on their own. The members also kept on asking questions during the building process until the stove was complete. Tape encouraged all the members to always participate in some steps such as smearing the stove after building it. They thanked Kibo staff for the lessons taught and everyone left because of the rains which had started.
