Martin went to Igerera A, he walked around in the lower section of the village, with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the latrine constructions, dish racks, shower facilities and hand washing stands. Mostly the emphasis was on the hand washing improvement and dish rack construction. Good enough the big number of homes in that section, have worked on their latrine constructions and others are still working on their new pit latrines like Enocent Muwanguzi, he is a young boy, he is in primary six. But the group was so encouraged see a young man like that one, constructing the new latrine for his father. When they asked him that, why are you constructing this latrine? He answered that, his father is becoming old, and he also said that, he would like to call it job in the future. And on the side of the hand washing stands, the group was so encouraged to see Eliyasa Byala, he did a great work he constructed two hand washing stands, near the latrine, for washing their hands after visiting their latrine and one, for washing the hands before entering their home, to prevent Covid 19. Generally on the side of the kitchens, the women are more happy than their husband, because they told the group that, before went to their village, they have been struggling with their husbands to construct the kitchens for them. And others have cooked outside for a long time. That is why they are appreciating kibo is work so much. The group was encouraging the residents to work hard on their sanitation facilities, so that they can change their homes as well as the village. As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village. the group walked in 30homes.
