Notes
The meeting began with prayer and after the Lc1 thanked members for turning up for the meeting. He also cautioned the members not to loose their goats since the planting season is about to start. He warned them as the goats may wonder around and it may result to paying a fine as they destroy some crops. The secretary of the group Mr.Peter Mulindwa reminded the members how they saved money and at the end of last year had back as each had saved. He reminded the members to grow enough food for their families and also cash crops. Alex B asked the members to learn how to love one another and also to forgive where one has made a mistake. He referred them to the issue of Miss Betty Namugwere whose husband sold her goat before she had taken back money in form of the offspring. The chairperson was not present as well as the vice chairperson as one of his children was admitted at one of the health centres. The lady Betty Namugwere present and she said the husband sold the goat without her knowledge. Alex B asked the leaders to inform all the members to attend the next meeting, since the chairperson and the vice chairperson were not present. The matter was not concluded on. He also told the members that since mostly their income is from growing crops, then to think of a group garden that will help them to stay united and yet they will be making development in their group. The Lc1 suggested that one of the projects they can do is growing cassava as a group.
