Notes
Suzan went to the village to follow up on the construction of some kitchen roofs which were leaking from the top, smearing of the buildings and the stoves which had cracks. When she arrived there, she went to the meeting place and met some members with the program chairperson. They welcomed her and together sat down briefly whereby the chairperson made some updates concerning the program activities carried out so far. He said that some members had managed to repair their kitchens together with the fuel efficient stoves. He then suggested they walk around the village and check on the facilities repaired, and together they got up and began walking around while visiting home to home. Suzan was able to see some two kitchens which had been repaired especially the walls which had fallen away. Other members also managed to smear their fuel efficient stoves which had cracked before and put up the high risen firewood storages inside their kitchens while some had gathered the materials like the grass and papairus for roofing their kitchens. However, Suzan requested the members to smear their kitchens and other buildings so that everything would look neat both from inside and outside. She thanked the members for the work done and encouraged them to maintain the same spirit of working together for an effective development.
