- Jeska went to Naibowa to practically teach participants of group B how to practically remove banana stems from the built stoves. She wanted to give them an opportunity to try to remove banana stems as she guides them because she wanted them to master the whole process of building stoves.
She reached and found the participants waiting at the home of the participants where the demonstration exercise was to be done.she asked the participants to take off the banana stems as she guided them. They tried but they forgot to remove the banana stem between the two cooking pots.
Jeska challenged them and asked them to always look at the complete stove check how many holes it has in order to remind them on the number of banana stems built in the stove.
After removing banana stems she removed the dirt that was stuck inside the stove to create space for the air to easily go through the stove for it to be effective.
After she worked with the participants to smear the stove so that it will look neat and last longer. She also asked the participants to join her to smear the entire kitchen.
Jeska also encouraged the participants to always smear their home facilities especially the stove every after two weeks in order to look neat and last longer.
The participants thanked kibo for empowering them with a skill to try to build stoves on their own through guidance. They promised to keep on practicing because practice makes perfect.
