Abraham met eleven Kivule community member and this is because we are to meet not many people as it used to be because of coronavirus.
The chairperson Mr Christopher told the meeting that they have been discussing to start a saving whereby they can give some soft loans to the members so that they can bring it back with some small interests.
He said some members had suggested to be saving two thousand shillings every month but still some said that was a lot and they are thinking of saving one thousand shillings every month.
Abraham told the meeting that it is a great idea but more things to think about, how they are going to keep records because without records someone may say he or she gave a certain amount and it might be true or not, the records proves it.
He gave them the example of Bukudumira they bought books and gave to each member as he or she saves records in her or his book and also the treasurer records it so that if anyone has any questions about his or her savings they bring both books to prove.
The members were very happy and said they want also to do that. They are still struggling to register at the district because the CDO told them that they were busy with NRM ruling party primary elections. The secretary told the meeting that he is going to call him and find out when they can collect their certificate of registration.
