Notes
Alex B and Chris went to nabituluntu village to guide the community members as they were drafting their bylaws to govern them before they can come up with their constitution. Alex b and Chris met 15 members who included 8 women and 7 men. To reach this level, Alex and Chris have been making a number of trips bringing the community together , teaching them the importance of working together and adopting the spirit of togetherness spas they address the challenge of deforestation through taking care of trees and planting trees as well and so they have reached the level of coming up with the bylaws to guide their group members. The chairperson of the group thanked kibo for bringing the community together however, he was grateful to the members who show commitment whenever he calls for meetings. He stated the challenges he has been facing as a chairperson, he said he has been facing a challenge of absenteeism, from duty by some committee members, coming late for meetings and lack of scholastic materials for the secretary as well as how the group will collect money for registration and how the group might change the leadership in future however, he was grateful to kibo for teaching them about creating their bylaws to help the group members to abide by the group objectives. To rectify the above challenges, the members decided to put a fine of 200 shillings on members who would miss meetings without a satisfying reason, they also agreed to put a membership fee of 500 shillings, this money they believe will help them register their group at the sub county and also able to buy some scholastic materials o the group secretary. Alex b and Chris will be going back to nabituluntu to meet the community members as they discuss about the constitution, Chris and Alex will teach about the importance of the constitution to the group.
