Notes
David and Steven along with the health Assistant mr Busense were in kirwanire village . And their intentions of going there was to involve the sub county health assistant and the kibo group to discuss ways on how to maintain and improve sanitation standards. As they were in the village they were joined by the sanitation committee members and some other residents into the different homes during their home to home movements. Out of the many homes they visited this is what was discovered. Of the homes which were given the summons letter by the health assistant because of not having pit latrines in place . Fortunately the three homes have improved. And the Four homes which were remaining not be meeting the standards. They are working hard because David and Steven were able to see that they were under progress and sooner they will be improved. Later after the home to home movements the group went for the communicated meeting together with the healthy assistant mr Busense. They started the meeting with the opening prayer. And after wards David was called by the village chairman to take the lead of the meeting. David invited the village chairman to give his fewer remarks. He reported to the health assistant the most complicated member Kalulu Magidu who was reported to have failed to increase on the depth of his latrine pit which was about 10 feet deeper. The chairman continued saying that instead of kalulu moving out of his two homes to the other places ,because of failure to meet the standards of his pit latrine to 15 feet deeper as told by the health assistant and the kibo. The health assistant asked the residents what would be done to kalulu Magidu. In order to let him stay in his home with the two wives . So the health assistant choose five elderly people in order to continue sensitizing him letter they will give the health assistant the feedback. All in all the healthy assistant granted a one week deadline to all the entire village. And also gave thanks to the kibo for their time and greater regards to the homes which had worked and improved. Mr Busense finalized the meeting when everyone had agreed to have improved in the two weeks time. And failure to meet the set deadline will call for further action from the sub county.
