- Alex B went Nabituluntu to continue with the discussion about the group constitution. He also to guide the community members as they they discuss articles that are meant to be in their constitution.
The meeting was opened with prayer that was led by the Lc1 chairperson. Tulibagenyi thanked members for turning up for the meeting.He informed members as the chairperson of the group Nkomo was not going to attend the meeting. The father of the chairperson was sick bedridden.
Alex B led the members into the discussion of their constitution. He told them to bear in mind that a constitution is important for people that always work together. It should information that guide them .it identify them from other people with ideas that are productive.
The name of the group and its location help them in identifying them .
The Aims and the objectives of the group should be spelt out.
The Activities that are to be done by the group .
The Mission/ Goal that is what they need to achieve as a group.
Group sustainability of the activities on a sustainable basis whereby they shall be
certified by endless implementation.
The sources of funds to develop the group and themselves.
The names of the members to be written in the constitution after fulfilling the
requirements set by themselves and one should sign against his or her name.
Moses a member of the group suggested that after identifying some issues that are meant to be captured in the constitution,they needed to meet during the course of the week.
Alex B agreed with members next time discuss more about the constitution writing.
