Notes
Abraham met twelve Kivule community members and the purpose was to discuss how they will care for the goats. Abraham first went to check some few members trees and the trees are doing well, growing big. He first went to the chairman’s home and they went together with his wife to check their trees and found out that the trees soon will be taller than them. He went to the LC1 defense’s home where he found him and they went to see the trees he planted. Abraham asked the chairman how the other members keeping the trees and he said that some members their trees are taller than them. They went to the meeting place where they found some members who told them that there is a guy he has been a headmaster of a certain school in the western Uganda but he died of coronavirus and they were bringing the body for burial but his wife and the children came to the village, interacted with community members and now they told the preacher to do his work so that when the body comes no one to touch it and the people were wondering what will come next because they interacted with his wife and the children. Abraham encouraged them to wear masks because they have been hearing from far but now it is in the house. He asked them how they are going to care for their goats and they said that they are working on their kitchens which they hope to keep the goats mostly during the night. They said that it will be good to treat them as a group because it may be cheaper than individuals. Abraham told the group that they will go and ask advise from a vet doctor who will give them more even the drugs they will be using and when. Concerning their kitchens Abraham told them to keep them clean because even if the goats will come but that where the children stay mostly like these rain season. The chairperson said they are trying to reach the CDO but not yet and they hope soon they will be able to talk to him. The next meeting they will be winding up for Christmas and they will share when to resume meetings for Kibo and saving scheme so that everyone is on the same page and they have to mobilize all members to be around because it is important for everyone to participate.
