Yesterday Alex b and Chris went to buyange village to introduce the mvule program, they first had a meeting with the CDO of magada sub county to outline the mvule curriculum and give a detailed plan of how kibo and the government would work together in the community. The meeting was very successful because the CDO was so excited to know about the mvule curriculum however she promised a total commitment from the government’s side to work together with kibo , she welcomed the development mvule program is bringing to the community, she said kibo has done a tremendous work in Namutumba district elevating the fight against ignorance and climate change. Chris thanked the CDO for opening her office for kibo whenever they needed it. After the meeting with the CDO, Alex and Chris proceeded to the village were they met with the community leaders who included the LC1, LC2, LC3 parish councilor and others, in the meeting Alex called upon the leaders to be exemplary if they wanted their community to develop, Chris also encouraged the leaders to reach every corner of the village to let everyone be part of the program. The LC1 mr bagaya promised to work with mvule program like he has been working with the safe kitchen stoves, the leaders agreed that they will be meeting at 12:30 to 3:30 every Wednesday. Chris and Alex b will be going back to buyange village to introduce the mvule program to the community members. 
Next Visit
2021-02-24 - Purpose: To introduce the mvule program to the community members . The members will be given a chance after the introduction to ask questions.
Program Success
Yes both district and village leaders welcomed kibo/Mvule program to their area and committed to working together .
Program Critical Needs
More sensitization about the mvule program especially among the community members is needed.
Program Ownership
The leaders of the village were happy to receive kibo staff and promised to work together with us.

The members still want more stoves in their community, come members said they missed out.
