Notes
Abraham and Alex B met four Buluvu community leaders and the purpose was to introduce to them the Mvule community development program. The chairman LC1 Mr Bumali thanked Kibo for the things done for the village and he said that he first heard about Kibo from Kigalama. He added that Tom and Alex w worked with the village and they got a bore hole. He promised to work with Mvule community development program because trees are important to the village, he added that sometime back they used to have many trees and fire wood was not a problem but now community members are struggling to get fire wood and if Kibo comes with the idea of planting trees he welcome it. Namukose one of the lady on the LC1 council she also said that she is happy for Kibo to think about them and take Mvule community development program to their village because being a woman they suffer looking for fire and she doesn’t know if nothing is done what the future will look like. They found one community member cutting his tree for timbers and she told him to plant more trees because he has cut one and there is a need for the one who will come after. The man said that if Kibo brings trees he will be part of the group and he wants to plant as many as he can. Abraham and Alex introduced to them why Kibo thought about communities planting trees, they told them about the slogan of Jamera Jene which means they grow by themselves and said they want to change that slogan to Tijamere jene which means they did not grow by themselves but we plant them.
