- Martin, Steven and Tom was in Namusita, their intention was to teach the community members how to work on their home facilities like digging the new pit latrines and constructing them, kitchens, rubbish pits and shower areas. Good enough the kibo staff reached Namusita, when the drummer group and the health assistant were a already at the meeting place with the village leaders. Unfortunately at that time, the community members were few, the reason why they were few, one of the community members lost three children at a time. The reason why they died, the house caught fire when the parents were in their garden. What caused the three children to die, the young ones, were inside the house and old one was trying to help their brothers, so they all died. So the kibo staff is requesting everyone who is going read that report, to pray for that family, because that family is in bad condition. Generally when they had that the kibo staff had arrived, they came in a big number. After having an opening prayer with one of the community members, they had a speech from the Chairman LC1. He was just welcoming the kibo staff and the health assistant and he said, he is willing to work with them. After that, they had a speech from health assistant, he was also welcoming the kibo staff, because he used to work with them in other villages, kibo have worked in and he new them latter. And community members decided on the sanitation program in two months. So after that the kibo staff all introduced themselves, the community members to know their names and were they come from. They started teaching them the disadvantage and the advantages of having the home facilities like latrines, kitchens, shower areas,rubbish pits and the diseases which may come dew to poor hygiene.
