The village is at a level of the borehole survey and waiting for the drilling process. The land agreement has been also secured. The community too is hard working and all are participating during this process of the new borehole that Kibo is planning to give to this village. They have already raised the required start up money totaling to 300,000sh towards their borehole account.

Notes
Alex went to Buyange after successfully finding a water point in the village where the borehole will be drilled. He went to meet the land owner where the water point was got and to finish up with the process of the land agreement. The land owner has to willingly and at no cost give out part of his land and an access route to his community before a borehole can be drilled. This step is very important to avoid any future problems that may arise as some people might turn around and claim that the borehole drilled belongs to the land owner where the borehole was drilled and chase away the rest of the community members from accessing this borehole or make them pay for the water as an individual. There are many examples of such scenarios in other communities where people turn around because there was no land agreement and make them personal boreholes refusing other people from fetching water from it. Also this agreement ensures that every body shares equal responsibility towards the borehole and have to all put efforts together to ensure that the borehole is functioning every time. Nabirye Ziyadha and two of her sons, Farouk and Salumini at no cost and willingly gave a plot of 20ft by 40ft and an access route to the site during the drilling process and for the community to fetch water when the borehole construction is done. More than 30 people were present to witness these three people sign an agreement and everyone was happy that they allowed to do this since other people refuse to drill or ask for money for compensation of his/ her land. Alex then told the community members to clear up the site and make an access route for the drilling rig by removing the logs and trees that may give a hard time for the drilling trucks to pass. Alex will go back to continue preparing the community before the drilling process that is expected in mid April and he will also join with the rest of the WASH team to carry out the third evaluation of the village.
