Notes
Abraham met thirty four Kishaike community members and they discussed about the goats they received from Kibo. The committee told the members that the three big goats they gave out last time, was because one of the community members not in the group was selling them so that he can get his daughter back in Uganda from Oman. She was taken by the people who are going around telling people that they have job opportunities abroad but when she reached there, they started mistreating her and now they told the family to send five million shillings so that they can allow her to come back in Uganda. The members said it was a good idea to buy those goats so that they can help that family, one member called Sayidi said that all what they are doing is about getting God's blessing and he added that the one who got a small goat may get a cow and yet the one with a big goat may fail. He said in their family one was given a small chick and another one was given a goat but the one with a small chick worked hard and now they have cows and the one who was given a goat has not achieved much. He therefore encouraged the members to work hard and see who will be first to get a cow from the goats they were given by Kibo. They said they will buy plastic chairs after bringing back the offsprings but some members they first grow Cabbages so that they will get more money. Abraham thanked the committee for the good work and told the members to keep on thinking what they can do together as a group. He told the meeting that all ideas are good but what they have to do is to agree what comes first and they will keep on exchanging ideas. In the next meeting they will come up with one thing they want to do first as they will be thinking about others in future.
