- Tape and Suzan went to the village to practically teach the members how to build the fuel efficient stoves. This time the participants would also practice and participate in the stove building. When they reached there, they found all the group members gathered at the meeting place who happily welcomed them to the village. Without wasting much time, two groups were formed whereby each group was led by Kibo staff. This was important because it would enable all the members to learn and participate easily without squeezing each other in the kitchens. The two separate groups went to two different homes and began preparing for the stove building. They collected dirt from the anthill while carrying it back outside the kitchens and Kibo staffs mixed it with grass while the members watched critically. Water was poured on the dirt and together they began stamping it was singing and dancing until it got soft and ready for stove building. Some of the members practiced how to cut and level the banana stems while Kibo staffs guided them. This was very important because through participation, the members would learn easily. Later after carrying the dirt into the kitchens, the members stood aside and Kibo staffs began building the stoves step by step while explaining to the members. Some of the young men practiced mainly in cutting and leveling the stoves with some guidance from Kibo staffs. Two stoves were successful built that day and the two groups came together to the meeting place after building the stoves. Tape and Suzan thanked each one of them for participating in the stove building and encouraged them to always have the spirit of working together as a team for an effective development. They thanked Kibo staffs for the lessons taught and the meeting came to an end wishing each other a happy stay.
