Notes
Alex B.with members of the group had their meeting at the groundnuts garden. The purpose was to let the members discuss about how they can make their project better as they all see how the groundnuts are doing. The chairperson of the group Miss.Margret Nabirye reported that the first time of spraying was done and all members participated in the exercise of spraying. Alex asked the members to make sure that they keep their garden clean out of weeds which may Lead to poor harvest and reminded them to respond when they are asked to go and do some work in their garden. It was noted that the project or the groundnuts are promising and they need always to pay attention to it.The members promised to work as a group so as to benefit out of that project. They have agreed to do the weeding on 14 and 15 April 2018 and the also spray the garden for the second time. They reminded those who have not paid in all the money for spraying to do so. Alex told the members to begin to think of what to do while waiting for the groundnuts to be ready for harvest. The members reminded themselves about the project of onions and they suggested that they should find out how many kgs they may need to plant and the cost that may be required to do that project. They talked about how much land it may require them as for the start. Alex B. Reminded them that such projects require them to provide money, unity and labour. He told them on the project of onions to find out how big the land they are going to get is and how much they are likely to harvest and even the money they will get out of it.
