Notes
Harriet had made a plan to meet members in Maliga and encourage them to work together. Unfortunately they were two other events in Maliga central that stopped most people to turn up for the meeting. There was a funeral in the village for a child of three years, Who had died and most people were at the funeral. Also there was registration for the Children's national identity cards at the school that required parents to go to school and register their children and according to the program the deadline was today. Harriet met a few members from upper Maliga, she inspected a few stoves which were being used and maintained and members told her that the stoves has changed their lives by limiting cases of children getting burnt,no smoke as well as providing them enough time to do other activities. They plan to come together and start making mats as a group so that they can raise money as a group. They also said they are willing to work in Maliga central if the people there are interested and are willing to pay them some little money towards their labour. This is because they spent their time learning when women in Maliga central were busy in their garden so this would be chance for them to also get paid back. Harriet told them she will first meet Maliga Central share with them about it and get their responses.
