Notes
Chris and Alex Bamulumbye went to this village to meet the community leaders to strategize and discuss how mvule program activities will go on while observing the SOPs, Chris and Alex Bamulumbye met 8 community committee leaders and below are the key highlights of the meeting. The chairman ( mr Tulibagenyi) is the head of the COVID-19 task force has been emphasizing and making sure all community members follow the SOPs. He therefore encouraged community leaders to make sure they do the same during and after kibo meetings. The chairman also requested kibo to make sure they restrict their number of members in the meeting to 7 as required by the government he said kibo should work with his office and make sure they sensitize the community about respecting the SOPs , he said this is his biggest challenge currently. The chairman also said kibo will not be able to meet all community members at once however he said each community leader will be allocated homes , these leaders will be attending the meetings on behalf of those homes and they will be reporting to them about what transpired during the meetings, the chairman said this will go on until the number required for meetings is lifted. Chris will meet the committee leaders next week on 23/08/2021 to prepare the community to receive goats.
