- Igerera village; Maria and Irene went to meet with the local leaders to discuss on how the health education lessons shall be conducted after the lockdown. The chair person ( Mr. charles) welcomed us and thanked God that he gave us safe journey mercies to Igerera then he asked the parish counsellor to open with a word of prayer then the chair person welcomed everyone and invited irene to say a word to the leaders. Irene welcomed everyone in the meeting and intorduced Maria to the local leaders though Maria had early gone to Igerera with Diana before the lockdown. She asked the leaders how the health education lessons will be conducted in this period. With views from all members present, we all agreed that all members must keep time, put on their masks, keep social distance and wash hands before the meeting starts. Maria was then invited to say a word about covid 19 symptoms and home based care for the patients. After the discussion about the symptoms and home based care, maria gave a clear summary onhow to look after patients from home and requested the members to be vigirant in identifying patients in their community, referal to hospital and encouraging family members to follow the procedures for home based care discussed. Irene thanked everyone for coming and encouraged them to mobilize the members for the next lesson then one member closed with a word of prayer.
