- alex bamulumbye and chris visited this village, they met 6 community leaders who included one lady and five women , they had a discussion about the status of the community, how the program activities will progress as we observe the SOPs and our next immediate step. The following was resolved. The village chairman Mr David welcomed the program and allowed Mvule program to proceed with the activities but cautioned us to observe the SOPs. The chairman also pledged to cooperate with the Mvule staff to make sure no one in the community is left behind. The community chairperson Mr Kairu reported that they (community) used to meet butbin small numbers and as a result they were able to finish writing their constitution, he thanked the community for cooperating well. The chairperson also reported that as a community, they decided to start a saving scheme which has not yet started because of the lockdown. The chairperson later on requested the Mvule staff to help them review the constitution for everyone to understand it. Mvue staff to review the constitution in the next visit.

The chairman of budumba village Mr David (standing) pledged to work with mvule program staff to sensituze the community about observing the SOPs as they conduct the program activities in the community. The chairman welcomed Kibo back to the community .
