- Tom met with the village leaders and planned for a meeting in which Tom will trigger the village in hand-washing. This is because another organization AMDA has already triggered the village to end open defecation and there are improvements in latrine coverage. Tom will also conduct lessons in facility construction and standards. They all agreed on a small number of residents who will be selected intentionally from every section of the village. Those selected will attend the lessons and later pass the information and knowledge learnt to their village residents
