Notes
Martin and Steven were in Namusita, their intention was to check on the sanitation improvement, as well as to meet with the local leaders and also to have dialogues with the community members, teaching, encouraging and guiding residents to construct good standard facilities. Good enough, due to Covid 19 and the long period of the lockdown, people have stayed in their homes, they have not been moving place to place. So they decided to work on their home facilities, for the example Sarah Nabukenya’s new kitchen, it’s under construction, Godi Mugema, he is digging a new pit latrine, it’s now 8ft deep and he is continuing to make it 30ft deeper, Daudi Kibalya, did a great work, because he worked on his new kitchen, shower area and the new latrine, Antonio Isabirye, he is digging the new pit latrine, it’s now 16ft deep and he is still continuing to make it 25ft deeper and Edith Naigaga, worked on her new shower area and Martin was encouraging her to maintain it. And others are still working on them and the group was just teaching, encouraging and guiding them how to construct good standard facilities. As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked around in 40homes.
