Alex walyomu , alex bamulumbye and chris went to this village to discuss about the past,the present and the future of the community, they met 6 committee leaders who included 1 lady and 5 women, the meeting was successful and they had the following resolutions. The chairman of the village Mr Aaron welcomed mvule program to resume work in the community and pledged to support its activities, he said he has been following what kibo does in other communities and was so impressed so for what hass been done in bupaluka therefore he encouraged the comminity leaders to cooperate with kibo/mvule program staff. The chairman advised the committee members to help kibo take the information to the rest of community members to avoid them from comming to attend meetings in big numbers, he encouraged the leaders to sensitize the masses about SOPs. The chairperson of the community mr Saulo welcomed mvule staff ans reported that the community development projects were affected by two major factors, first is the covid19 pandemic which affected the way they work and meet, he said they could not access markets because they were all closed. Another factor was the long drought that affected their gardens, he said they got very little harvests from there gardens which affected there budgets. When alex told the committee that they would receive goats from kibo, the chairman and his committee were so excited about the great news, the chairman said the rest of the community would receive the good news with great pleasure however alex walyomu , chris and alex bamulumbye will continue with the discussion about preparation to receive goats during the next visit.
