Learning Objectives
To educate the participants about Adolescent and Puberty stage
Notes
Purpose of the visit. Manuela went to Kagulu to teach parents and some children about Adolescent and Puberty stage, this lesson is aimed at advising the young boys and girls who are in Adolescent stage not to be scared of what they are going through or experiencing, and also the parents to start preparing their children for time, not to think that they are ready for marriage. During the lesson, Manuela explained to the participants what Adolescent is , she said that Adolescent is period of transition from childhood to adulthood during which Adolescents develops biological and psychological behavior and development of signs around their bodies. Manuela went on and explained to the participants that there are early Adolescent which is between 10 -14 and late Adolescent stage 15 and 19 so she encouraged parents to monitor that carefully because sometimes the youth are scare and excited about those changes. She also asked the participants if they do monitor their children. One of the participants said that, for them they think that their children do learn that from school that is why don’t keep trucks on their children’s Adolescent stage . After Manuela realizing that most parents don’t pay attention to their children’s Adolescent changes, she advised them to do so because most children act strange during that time so they need their parents to advised them. While Manuela was teaching one of the participants called Sylvia said that in Kagulu they think if their children starts developing breast bums and hips they conclude that their children have measured and ready for marriage. So she appreciated Manuela for that lesson and they are going to start monitoring their children and they encouraged them that what they going through is normal and everyone went through it and going through. Finally, Manuela gave the community members homework on the importance of sex education and she encouraged the participants not marry off their daughters during Adolescent time, she also advised the children to be careful during that time they should not think it’s time for them to marry. 
Next Visit
2021-08-30 - Purpose: On that day Manuela will be teaching about the importance of teaching sex education to their children.

Members agreed that one of their colleagues to be trained and teach them when Manuela is out of this village.
