- Martin and Steven were in Kilwanire, their intention was to meet with community members and discuss about the borehole contribution as well as checking on the sanitation improvement in the homesteads. As it’s a rain season, the residents was busy in their gardens, Martin, Steven and the village leaders, decided to walk around the village, to check on the sanitation improvement. Good enough, the residents have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like the new latrines, kitchens, shower areas, rubbish pits and hand washing stands. On the side of the dish racks, according to the long period of the lockdown, other dish racks, are becoming old. So the group was forced to encourage the community members to maintain their dish racks, to make the village clean. After walking around that village, the kibo staff, the residents and village leaders had a meeting, to discuss about the borehole contribution. The chairman water user committee, Kyate Fred, told the group that on the issue of the borehole contribution. They have already contributed ( 476000) shillings and three chickens, for the borehole account and for feeding the drillers.
