- This village has greatly improved in terms of sanitation and hygiene in the two trading centres of kamwenge and kidaali. There are many new pit latrines in place and also the people’s perception about hygiene and sanitation has been positive and many homes are maintaining their facilities

- Alex met with the water user committee members of Buyange village and he asked them about the borehole account status. This community has worked very well and have already raised 300,000sh. The committee members also led the rest of the community members to clear up the bushes and the path for the drilling rig to pass and the site to be drilled was also trimmed and is very clean. Before the meeting with the committee, Alex visited 10 homes that were still previously working to meet the required ssanitation status in their homes. Farouk completed to work on a new kitchen and a new standard dish rack. Kirya Samuel was working on his bathroom and the rest of the homes were guided in some facilities to improve on them and also reminding them to dig the bathroom soak pits since most homes forget this. He also reminded people to put doors on their latrines and roof their pit latrines. The chairperson of the water user committee, Mrs. Faridha Salumini has done a good job to calm down the people who keep coming to her inquiring about when the borehole was to be drilled. Some people had started a rumor that Kibo might be lying since it’s taking long minus drilling the borehole. So Alex still talked to the people and told them to be patient and the right time for drilling will come. He called on the committee to keep working together and to always come for the training sessions when they are called. Kibo will be carrying out the third evaluation in this village soon.
