Notes
Ida went to Ndalike to teach about parenting. She asked the community what they understood by the term parenting. Mugote the VHT said that “parenting is the raising of children “ Minsa said that parenting is a big thing that includes paying school fees, treating, clothing, providing food, shelter etc Ida thanked them for the good participation. and also told them that parenting is more than we think. Parenting will continue until our children die, even if they get married we still do parenting so learning never stops. Ida encouraged parents to discipline their children with love. Both parents are responsible for their children’s welfare, shouting at them in public isn’t healthy. Parents please listen to your children and let them share their thoughts and help them develop their social skills. Ida encouraged parents to provide for their children’s material needs. Parents remember that God entrusted you with the responsibility of shaping their character and guiding their spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth. The chairperson Anthony thanked Kibo for such good lessons that have helped the community.
