Notes
Suzan went to the village and found one of the village local leaders Matia and Godfrey at the community center. Her intention was to teach the community members the qualities of a good leader so that they would be able to choose their own leaders who would coordinate with the healthy and safe kitchens program. Unfortunately it was reported that the village had received news about the loss of one of their elderly member and most of them had gone for burial at a neighboring village since the deceased was a moslem who needed to be buried on the same day. Suzan felt sorry for their loss and together they suggested to walk around the village and visit a few homes while monitoring different facilities because the actual lesson that day needed when all the members were around to participate. During the home visits Suzan found some children at home alone cooking on the three stones open flames stoves and most buildings needed to be smeared both from the inside and outside parts . She also used the home visit to talk to the children found at home about the postponement of the meeting to Wednesday 15/9/2021. The kitchens also didn’t have the firewood storages in them. Later after, Suzan thanked leaders present for their time and wished to meet them in the coming meeting when everyone was around.
