- Notes
- Diana went to Nawandyo B. She had made calls before and it was okey to go, but when she reached the village to her surprise she found people mourning and it was the Chairman mr. Kiiige’s mother who had passed on that morning. No wander I kept calling their phones and no one was picking. Diana knew that may be they had gone to the gardens and had left their phones behind. But was proved wrong when she found people mourning.
Diana sat with the community and the bereaved family because as Kibo we have to share in the pains of the community. This is the time they need us most. The number kept increasing, Diana had to excuse herself because of Covid restrictions.
Diana went to the neighboring village Nawandyo A. She visited some few homes to see how they are handling community empowerment program in their community, the few homes Diana met clean compounds, the hand washing facilities were well utilized, the kitchens were in good condition. Diana also met the children helping in house chores while their parents were heading to the funeral in Nawandyo B.
Diana thanked everyone for maintaining hygiene and practicing community empowerment lessons.
