Notes
Tom met the residents of the lower section to discuss about sanitation and hygiene improvements and facility construction standards. Most women turned up for the meeting than men and Tom encouraged the vice chairman that the next meeting all men should turn up. Tom taught and encouraged residents about hand washing stand construction and dish rack construction especially in homes that are yet to construct those facilities. The leaders also encouraged some few residents to finish their latrines. The vice chairman encouraged women and men to work together to make and improve their homes with good facilities like latrines, dish racks, showers, kitchen etc. one of the leaders said he has committed to committed to constructing hand washing stands for every resident who provides bricks, sand and cement.
