- Village Notes
- This village had to come together and solve a big problem that had emerged of a group of people (youths) who claim to call themselves “The thirteen young stars B13” disorganizing the Kibo program in the village by intimidating the committee and refusing the people to pay the money for the borehole account.

- Notes
- Alex met with some of the water committee members to discuss on a way forward and what the community had resolved on concerning the people that were trying to sabotage the program. Last week on Wednesday, Kibo group staffs together with the sub county officials had a meeting with the community members trying to resolve the issue of some people who intimidated the water user committee and even threatened to beat them up if they kept asking for money from the people and locking the boreholes. That meeting was left at a point of those who call themselves 13 young stars to come out and publicly apologize to all the community since their leader was around in the meeting. They were to write an apology letter to the sub county and Kibo would hold a meeting with the sub county officials on a way forward. The chairman of the committee called Alex on a Sunday that those culprits came out in the community meeting and apologized and the community members agreed to forgive them. He asked that they had requested to also meet with Kibo staff separately and ask for forgiveness. So Alex decided to pass by this community and meet with them and hear what they wanted to say. Their leader of the group called Ibrahim, a leader of the youths told Alex that they did this because they are having some political differences going on in their community. These youths complain that they have been left out so much and not been involved in the political positions and so this made them angry. However this has not come up only during the Kibo presence in this village but comes from a way back. He apologized and said that they were doing this out of ignorance and blocking development in their community. He said that he would call on his fellow youths to cooperate and even contribute the money needed for the borehole account. The group also wrote a formal apology letter to the sub county of which both Kibo and the sub county will look at and come up with a way forward to help this community. Alex then left for Kalitumba village and joined Tom and Enock for the triggering process.
