Notes
Manuela and Lorna went to Kivule primary school to give the pupils a post test on HIV/AIDS. This post test is set out of what was taught and is to evaluate if the pupils understood the lesson taught to them. When Manuela and Lorna reached the school they found when some of the pupils the primary seven were taking passport photos for registration , Manuela and Lorna had to Wait for the pupils to finish then give them a post test, while waiting Manuela and other teachers had already started giving other Life Skills pupils the papers as they Waited for primary seven to finish then do a post test. The objective of this session was to evaluate if the pupils understood the lessons that they studied, post test always helps Manuela to decide on whether to start off with the new topic or repeat the same lessons that pupils performed poorly. The test was done for forty minutes and after that the pupils handed in their papers and they said they are going to pass. Challenge Some of the pupils who have always been absent during Life Skills program and they are only boys. They were not also attending other class lessons too. They however managed to seat for the post test but unfortunately they could not answer the way other pupils could do simply because they don’t know what to write. Manuela told of the teacher whom she teaches Life Skills with to try and go through some of the lessons with those pupils and also they are going to repeat the lessons privately with Mr. Maginal
