Notes
Enock made a visit in this community to check on the progress of hand washing more so in the lower section of the village, he also continued assessing the usage, guiding and monitoring construction of latrines, shower areas, dish racks, kitchen areas, rubbish pits emphasize the residents to construct sustainable facilities. There has been a good response form this community where many homes have constructed hand washing stands improved the sanitation and hygiene through proper construction of latrines, shower areas with bricks cement, sand and adding vent pipes on the structure. During the visit we observed great progress in behavioral change and sustainability has been realized. As we continued walking around with Mr Richard kabali we pasted the district offices which are constructed in the same village and has a borehole which produces salty water and the neighboring homes only uses it for washing and cooking. They have to walk a distance to the next borehole which was constructed by kibo very many years back which only has good water. There has been great increase in the sanitation and hygiene and only few homes which have been lagging behind, they are also completing their facilities. The chairman and VHTs are asking the kibo group wash team to consider them for a new borehole since the community has a great increase in the population of the area.

21891 Latrine which was constructed but not roofed and has faced issues of heavy rainfall which has washed most of the bricks and soil. We encouraged the family to reconstruct the structure and add more brick to the required standard height as we discussed to them we also taught them the importance of roofing the structure.
21894 Most residents have embraced the use of cement sand and brick to construct sustainable facilities more so shower areas and latrines with pipe vent system.
