Notes
Harriet and Tape went to Kirwanire village to continue teaching participants how to build fuel efficient stoves. They found when the participants had already gathered at the meeting place and surprisingly they had finished to build one stove on their own. Kibo staff looked at but it was poorly done. The hole for oxygen was put in a wrong direction where by it would be hard for oxygen to light fire or else some one would sit in the kitchen, blow fire in order to cook food thus spending time to cook food yet a good fuel efficient stove targets to give the family time to do other activities as food cook by itself. Kibo staff thanked them for having stepped up meaning that they were very interested in the program. Kibo staff together with the community remolded the stove since it was still new and built a better stove as they explained the Whole process. They encouraged the community to remain practicing because practice makes perfect. They also proceeded to the next home and build a second stove as kibo staff guided them. This village has five active men who have a zeal of learning. Also the community work together there are no cases of absenteeism as it was observed and reported by the chairperson LC1.
