Diana and Ida went to Bukudumira to carry out evaluation on domestic violence and introduce the lesson of school dropouts. The chairman Sam welcomed the community and thanked everyone for keeping time. He told them to encourage other members to attend the community empowerment lessons, because they speak to their day to day life. Ida also thanked the community for not giving up on community empowerment lessons. She took them through the evaluation of domestic violence lesson. Hejira says domestic violence as lesson has greatly transformed her family. Her husband no longer shouts at her in public, he even cooks for them, meaning that there is mutual understanding in the family. Salma said that her husband who loved quarreling all the time has improved. He cares for his wife and children. Swaibu said that for him he just sees a renewed relationship. Diana and Ida kept clapping their hands for these testimonies. Ida and Diana encouraged the community to keep up the same spirit of promoting love in their community. Diana introduced the lesson of school dropouts to the community. She asked them to define what school dropouts really is? Frank said it is when children are not attending school. Diana thanked him for his good answer. She told them that domestic violence is one of the reasons the children dropout of school. This is because when children see their parents fighting, they tend to lose interest in everything. Diana told the community that they will continue with that topic in the next visit. She gave them the home work to find the causes and effects of school dropouts. The chairmen thanked everyone for attending and participating in the lesson. He appreciated community empowerment program for the good work rendered in his community.
