Notes
Chris went to nabituluntu to continue with follow up lessons on decision to receive the goats, this involved visiting homes of the community members to establish the requiremwnts to receive the goats. Chris has been focussing on planting of trees, uphrading the toilets, kitchens, dish racks, wirelines, planting goats feeds, goats shelter and many more. During the home visits chris realized that community members are very determined to meet all the requirements because atleast every home had a new facility being constructed, this was witnessed at Mr Moses Nabuyanja who everyone in the community was accusing of not having a toilet at his home and that he has been filling his neighbour’s toilet however, after a series of engagements with him and the village chairman and being a member who has to fullfil the requirements to receive the goats, Mr Moses Nabuyanja decided to contruct a brand new toilet at his home, everyone in the community including the chairman were happy and therefore thanked kibo for the efforts they made. Meanwhile during the meeting , chris reported about Mrs Wonaze sarah , a widow of 8 children whose toilet collapsed but does not have a husband or anyone to help her, chris requested th community members to look around how they would help her however all the community members agreed to help her ,first by constructing a toilet and then a kitchen, the chairman who will oversee this exercise said that since kibo vame to the community, there has been a spirit of love and and unity and therefore members are exibiting it by helping one of the widows. Chris thanked the community members for the love they have shown to the widow and encouraged them to continue with that spirit. Chris will continue with household visits to establish the requirements to receive the goats next week.
