- Keneth visited kisimu village with purpose of general sanitation improvement specifically looking at dish racks, bath areas ,latrines , and hand washing stands. On arrival , he met chairman lc one who wasn’t in position to escort him to the field and assigned his representatives because of the burial ceremonies to attend to, keneth and the VHTs together with chairman representative visited some homes with elder members present to continue guiding and encouraging them to improve their sanitation, and this specifically checking on latrines, dish racks, rubbish pits, hand washing stands,and other home ideal facilities.they visited mr kisira Isaac who had his latrine with no roof on the previous visit had provided roof structure and promised to thatch it with plant materials by Friday 22nd October. He further visited a home who had their utensils inside a basin and guided them to lay them on the dish rack and letting them know the importance of utensils being heat and dried up with sufficient sun light that kills some invisible germs that may not be removed by mere wash and wipe. Keneth together with the chairman representative and the VHTs guided a member who had his bath area roofed to have an open roof bath area so that enough sunlight heat sand dries up in the inside for sanity. He also further guided a member on the proper siting and standards of a rubbish pit since when it’s near the home compound can lead to smell nuisance and unsightliness. The community is willing to impending thankful of Kibo’s works in this village.
