Notes
Martin and Steven were in Kitukiro, their intention was to check on the progress of the sanitation and hygiene improvement of the latrines, shower areas, dish racks and hand washing stands, as well as to encourage the proper construction and standardization of all the facilities. They walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Good enough, to compare to the fast day kibo went in that village, the big number of homes have improved for sanitation facilities, even if others are still working on them. For example Asupasa Ntuyo, he didn’t have the dish rack, but he worked for it, Kanifa Mugolo’s new dish rack, it’s under construction, Namubilu Kasimu, she worked for the new dish rack, but it needs just maintenance, Robert Kasaikya, he worked for the new hand washing stand and the dish rack, Kalimu Kung, he worked for the new shower area in a strong way with bricks and cement, Living Muyingo’s new dish rack, it’s under construction and others. Generally the community members have worked hard on their new home facilities. But for those who are still working on their new home facilities, the group was encouraging encouraging them about the standards, maintenance and to increase the speed to work on them and they said they are willing to work, because they have seen the value of the home facilities. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 25homes.
