- Maria and Irene went to Nawampiti to introduce the Community Health Education program to the Local leaders. The chairperson thanked all members for turning up and Kibo for the Love towards this village, he then invited Mr. Yacobo the VHT to open the meeting with a word of prayer. The chairperson Mr. Richard continued thanking Kibo for the programs that have so far been there; WASH, Life skills, Safe kitchen stove, and now the Community health education program. He then encouraged the community members to come and participate in the program thereafter he invited Kibo staff to speak to the community members. Maria thanked the chairperson for welcoming and allowing Kibo to serve in his village, then she introduced her self to the Local leaders and some members who turned up it being not the first time for Maria to visit Nawampiti. Then she invited Irene to speak to the community. Irene thanked all members for coming, then she introduced the organization, the program, and herself to the local leaders. The community together with Kibo staffs discussed how the program shall be conducted choosing Time, Day, and venue where the meetings shall be held. In a nearby home, Maria and Irene came across Juliet who was married off because she had conceived, Namulondo the mobilizer in safe stoves program shared with us the whole story of this 14year old young mother. Juliet conceived during the lockdown of schools and she has just given birth,so the local leaders are requesting the community health education program to organize a talk to the youths encouraging the young generation to abstain or else use family planing, and the Community health education staffs promised to organize a day for the youths as it is in line with most of our lessons. The meeting ended with a word of prayer committing everyone in the hands of God from the Chairperson Mr. Richard.
