- Lorna set off to Mpumiro village to teach on Communications with group C. We divided the community into 3 sections since Covid and the chairman requested it stays that way to date. However Lorna plans to talk to the community members so that we come up with one meeting place like before.
On my way to the village however half way the journey, the chairman called Lorna and informed her that they had just lost a 20 year old boy. He was suffering from stomach complications and that he had passed on. He informed Lorna that if she was not almost reaching the village she should not come since they were going to arrange for the funeral. Lorna was close to the village and there was no option but to reach the village.
At the village Lorna was met by the chairman and they went paid condolences to the home of the boy. Thereafter we walked together with the chairman to a few homes informing them of the next meeting and also checked on a few facilities encouraging them where necessary especially with the hand washing stands to make use of them and teach their children the importance so they can maintain them but not just maintain but use them as well. After this We set another day for the meeting for 3 Nov same place and then Lorna came back to Jinja.
