Notes
Abraham and Kivule community members discussed about self progress, the chairperson Mr Christopher told the meeting that they went Nsinze sub county to renew their registration but they were told that they have to pay two hundred thousand because they are more than thirty members. It was hard for them to come back and tell the members to contribute more money. He reported that they finished deworming their goats and those who were coughing are now okay and their pig again produced eight piglets which they hope to give other members also to take care of them. He also said that they want each house hold to have a garden of vegetables whereby they can eat or sell some and one lady said that for her she is going to start a tomato garden. Abraham told them that government brought the idea of Myoga which is also supporting communities giving them some funds and may be they think all communities are registering for that fund. He told them that even Kalitumba they have the same issue and they are hoping to register all the members. Concerning a vegetable gardens, he encouraged them to do what they think which can keep them together. He advised them to get two hundred thousand shillings and register all fifty community members because they can not register only thirty members and leave the rest. They concluded that they are going to send Mr Migwa a councilor at Nsinze sub county who is also a member of Kivule community to inquire from the CDO to get the final answer. They are again going to select some members who will be taking care of the piglets they got from a pig they bought as a community.
