Notes
Martin went to Kagulu village to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement in the trading centre, for those homes who are still lagging behind. He walked around that section with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee. In three homes of Jafali Njagule, his latrine and kitchen was under construction, Bosco Nabeta’s latrine is also under construction and Charles Ngode’s latrine is also under construction. Martin was encouraging them to work hard on their sanitation facilities and complete them. They promised him to work hard on their sanitation facilities, even if there are too busy in their gardens, because they have seen the value of the sanitation facilities in their homes and village as a whole. The Chairman LC1, sanitation committee and the community members are requesting kibo to give them more pick Axes. The pick Axes which were given to them on the triggering day, three of them are broken. They are remaining with one in the whole village. Martin and the group walked in 34homes.
