- Irene went to kalitumba to teach about alcohol and drug abuse. The meeting started with a word from the chairman who thanked the members for turning up and kibo for their continued support towards the development,sanitation and hygiene in their Village then after his speech the chairman invited Irene to say a word to the members. Irene thanked all the members for the turn up,made a recap of the previous lesson and then she introduced the lesson of the day as Alcohol and drug abuse. Irene asked the members some of the conditions that lead one to drink, health effects of too much alcohol to the family,individual,and community. Together with the members Irene discussed the lesson of the day and at the end of the discussion Irene informed the members that they were coming to the end of the the health education program in their village, and another program will be coming,so she will be conducting the last door to door evaluation to check on what has always been discussed, putting emphasis on the general cleanness of their homes, pregnant mothers for birth preparedness basically checking on what has been prepared, breastfeeding mothers and their babies, children and the elderly and a feedback will be given in the last visit.
