- Jeska went to the village to follow up on the stove building progress at the upper section of the village and also to encourage the participants at the lower section to speed and get involved in the stove building lessons. Jeska arrived there and found some committee group leaders at the meeting place with other community members from the lower section of the village. They welcomed her and first had a short discussion concerning the program activities like building of stoves whereby the chairperson reported that they had previously built two stoves together and that day they were going to build one more stove. Jeska was so pleased to hear that Matiya and Sadat from the upper section were trying to teach the other new members how to build the stoves. With the guidance of Kibo staff , the participants managed to build one stove that day and Jessica encouraged them to continue working together as a team during any program activities. She requested the members from the lower section to get involved in the stove building lessons because their speed was so slow yet they haven’t mastered all the skills. She thanked the community for attending the lessons and the meeting came to an end.
- Next Visit
- 2021-11-17 - Purpose: Continue guiding the community how to build stoves and follow up on the construction of the firewood storages . She will put much emphasis in the lower section.
