- Tom made a,visit to Namulu village to meet with the village leaders to select a day for triggering. He went with the health assistant Miss Deborah from Mazuba subcounty. The chairman Mr Ogema was so happy to see the health assistant and Tom from kibo. He said based on what he is seeing in Kisimu, he is very excited for kibo to be working in his village. He said sanitation is a challenge and a big problem in his village. He health assistant also mentioned to him that the sub-county will be giving the village of Namulu a public toilet. She said but it will only serve its purpose well well all residents in the village have latrines because the public latrine is not to serve the residents of Namulu but the people who come to the Market. So it’s a latrine for the Market. Tom mentioned that Kibo has gone to the village to create friendship and relationships through the sanitation and hygiene program. He said kibo has gone to the village to work with the people and to help them improve on their sanitation and hygiene standards. The health assistant also encouraged the leaders to work with kibo and to cooperate. She said kibo is a blessing to the village based on its programs. The chairman and the leaders agreed that the rightful day for triggering will be on the 24th Nov 2021
