Notes
Jeska went to the upper section of Butabira village to continue following up on stove building progress and smearing. This because some Two young boys Jessy and Isiiko had learnt how to build stoves and had committed themselves to help the rest of the members in the group also get stoves. Also there were some homes that were lagging behind as far as smearing is concerned so she wanted to follow up and see progress. She reached in the village and found when the participants had just finished building two stoves. She inspected the stoves and they were well built though one stove was built in a kitchen with an open roof and the stove would be destroyed by rain in case it rained. Jeska told them never to build a stove in a leaking kitchen / kitchens with out roofs because in case it rained the stove can be destroyed by rain. She asked the owner of the kitchen roof the kitchen immediately and he started roofing it since he had the roofing materials around. Also as far as smearing is concerned , some participants had smeared their home facilities though some were only concentrating on smearing the stove only and Jeska reminded them that they need to smear the stove and the entire kitchen at least every after two weeks. The participants who were lagging behind promised to improve.
