Alex B and Walyomu Alex went to meet with leaders of the community about goat distribution exercise and confirm with them day for the community to receive their goats from Kibo group. They also had a discussion with government officials about their presence on the day of the goats distribution. They met with the new sub county chief called Rogers and the new community development officer called Enoch at Ivukula sub county offices. These leaders were brought up to speed what had taken place in Bupaluka village since they are new in the sub county and continued to appreciate Kibo’s services to the communities in the sub county. They later proceeded to the village to meet with the community leaders to brief them about the goat distribution exercise and what is expected of them. They confirmed to them that the goats would be distributed on Wednesday 24/11/2021 in the morning hours. The leaders were encouraged to mobilize all the 43 community members legible to receive goats from Kibo group and should appear in person. It was such great news to them on hearing the news from Kibo group and promised to cooperate all throughout this exercise. They were also told to mobilize other local leaders to be present to witness this process when their village is receiving these goats from Kibo group. The district officials like the DCDO were also invited to attend this important occasion and they promised to come and also appreciated kibo group for great initiative in partnering with the district in ensuring community development.
