Notes
Abraham and Chris met Kivule community members to discuss about self progress mostly how they will bring back the offsprings. They decided as a community to bring a real goats or in form of money, for most communities it is easier to bring in form of money because goats can’t produce at once which makes difficult for the members to bring back to the general pool a real offsprings. As they waiting for members to come for the meeting they went around to check some trees the chairperson Mr Christopher planted and they are growing so first. By the time they reached the meeting place it started raining hard with hail storms and most members ran back home to remove things the left outside. Abraham and Chris spent time with the leaders discussing how the will be bringing back the offsprings. They told the leaders that if they decide to bring in form of money it has to be a fair amount of money and the all community have to participate in the discussion so that they are all on the same page. The chairperson Mr Christopher suggested that bringing back the offsprings in form of money is the better way because bring the real goat it will be hard to keep them but with money they are hoping to open a community account whereby they just deposit on their account the money. He added that some of that money will help them in transportation if they are asked by the government because already the CDO Namutumba district wants to meet them as Kivule community leaders to discuss how they will benefit in government programs. Mr Christopher promised to call for a general meeting of leaders the members who received goats and agree on the policy of bringing back the offsprings.
